Compass Feeds is a family owned and operated stock feed manufacturing business located in Mt Compass, on the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.
Established in 1980, Compass Feeds manufactures and supplies an extensive range of Stock Feeds and Mineral supplements for Dairy & Beef Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Goats and Alpacas.
Compass Feeds also offer a Custom Blending service to our growing customer list. Structured to service and supply individual clients with their own unique product formula, along with our consultation and input, this specialised service is now a significant part of our overall business, with Total Mixed Feeds,Concentrates and Self Choice Mineral Licks being delivered regularly in and around Southern Australia.
We are members of The Stock Feed Manufacturers Council of Australia, and are fully Feedsafe accredited.
We also have a direct to the customer retail outlet on the premises which is open 5.1/2 days per week (including Sat morning), with ample parking, and safe loading areas. Our retail shop stocks Compass Feeds own brand products, as well as a range of Stock Feeds, Pet Foods and merchandise from other leading manufacturers.

Welcome to Compass Feeds, Out and About is a "blog" (whatever that is) written by Ross Waller , Rossco to all and sundry!
I will be on the road travelling from state to state visiting farms, resellers, etc and making sure our valuable customers understand our products, where they fit in animal production and where improvements can be made. During that time I will also set aside a day or 2 for product appraisal and evaluation. I will also be explaining and working with farmers on a new range of liquid supplements, where they fit, and the range of features and benefits. the travel diary will also feature animal production tips and nutrition tid bits, photos of key sites and animals will also be added. Water samples and leaf tissue samples are always of great value, so, if you have any to share, they will be a great asset to further our understanding of animal intake and requirements.
So, hopefully I will catch up with all of our customers and readers of the "blog", whatever that is!
